Commenting on the publication of the Welsh Government's final budget for 2012-13, Shadow Minister for Finance Paul Davies AM, said: "This is a cut-price deal that completely snubs our National Health Service. "When the draft budget was published it was clear that Labour still intended to slash funding to health by hundreds of millions of pounds. "Not a single additional penny has been given to the NHS in this final budget. "As it stands, waiting time targets are not being met, vacancies are not being filled and operations are being cancelled. This budget does absolutely nothing to address those failures and hard-working frontline staff – already under threat – face an incredibly uncertain future."
