Over the last four years, Mr Davies has offered numerous students from across Pembrokeshire the chance to work in his offices and will continue to accommodate young people who wish to gain first-hand experience of the political environment during his second term as Preseli Pembrokeshire's AM. Speaking from the Assembly Office this morning, Rebecca commented: "I have always had a true passion for politics and my time with Paul Davies, both in his constituency office and his Assembly office in Cardiff, has only intensified my interests. I feel very lucky to have had this great opportunity to gain practical experience to match my academic studies, particularly with such an established and proactive Assembly Member. Paul's enthusiasm for both local and national issues has only encouraged me in my pursuit of a career in politics, and I have learnt a great deal during my time with him which I believe will help me to secure this ambition." Paul Davies said, "I am pleased that Rebecca has enjoyed her time shadowing me in my role as an Assembly Member. I am more than happy to offer students from across Pembrokeshire the chance to work in my offices and I will continue to accommodate young people who wish to gain first-hand experience of the political environment in which I work."
