Paul Davies said, "I was extremely pleased to attend such an important meeting. It was a wonderful opportunity to liaise with my colleagues in Westminster over some incredibly serious issues affecting the people of Wales. As the Interim Leader of the Welsh Conservative Assembly group, I will continue to liaise with the Secretary of State on the issues discussed and work alongside my colleagues to best serve the people of Wales. I also look forward to continue working jointly with Stephen as the local MP to ensure the interests of the people of Pembrokeshire are heard at the highest level as well." Stephen Crabb added, "It was a productive discussion and the Prime Minister was keen to hear our thoughts on a number of important matters. I was pleased to have the opportunity to raise again the future shape of the Coastguard Service which is of special significance to Pembrokeshire."
