Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has presented the 2011 Team Pursuit event awards in Crymych. The popular annual event, held at Crymych Leisure Centre has now been running for an impressive eighteen years.

Paul Davies said, "I was very privileged to have been asked to award this year's athletes at the Annual Team Pursuit event. Approximately 100 people took part in the race, which was a great turn out. The event was a fantastic way of highlighting the importance of keeping fit and healthy, whilst having fun and bringing the local community together."

"Events like the Annual Team Pursuit are a great example of the cohesive community events that Pembrokeshire, as a county, offers. I am pleased that a lot of fun was had by all who attended. It is something that all of the family can take part in. I would encourage as many people as possible to think about coming to next year's event and joining in the fun!"
