Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies has recently hosted the launch of Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2011 in Wales at the Senedd. The event aims to promote the use of Welsh farm produce in traditional breakfasts and to outline the importance of the Welsh farming and food industries.

"I was delighted to host the FUW farmhouse breakfast yet again," said Mr Davies.

"It was also a wonderful opportunity to promote the benefits of a healthy breakfast and to promote those benefits in our local communities. It also gave us an opportunity to reflect on the success of the Welsh farming industry and the Welsh food industry. Wales produces a huge variety of food and drink and I look forward to seeing a number of more and more Welsh products in our stores in the future. Welsh produce is of an excellent quality and we must ensure that as many people as possible continue to support their local agricultural industry."
